Commissions

​​Jonathan Ash has been commissioned to paint a number of works for different occasions and environments, from an A4 family portrait up to a 2.5 metre canvas for a foyer.   • A 2m work for The Cannon Pub, Brompton, Kent (see below);
  • Four 1.2m canvases of ships local to Chatham Dockyard to hang in apartment foyers on St. Mary's Island, Kent (see below);
  • A 2.5m canvas of a plane built locally in Rochester, Kent;
  • Posters and album covers for a number of bands (see below);
  • Paintings from photos of local landmarks, family members, pets (see below);
  • Intimate (nude) paintings;
  • Book covers;
  • Large canvases of famous people for private residence;
  • A ridiculous number of cats and increasingly dogs. Couple of horses, too.
Prices start from £100 for an A4 acrylic painting on linen style paper; prices for canvas paintings on request. As is standard, 50% is payable as a non refundable deposit to cover materials. He also offers a 6"x4" ink sketch starting from £25.

Large (2m) outdoor mural for pub garden.

The Cannon in Brompton, Medway (UK) is a Royal Engineers pub and they wanted a suitable mural for their smoking area; here we have a sapper lighting his cigarette from a cannon.

Four paintings in apartment foyer of ships linked to local dockyard.

Commissioned by residents of a block of flats on St, Mary's Island, Chatham (Medway, UK), which was built on the former Chatham Dockyard, these four paintings reflect the strong military history of the area.
